Technical Engineer vacancy in Qatar
Qualifications:
-Minimum experience of 5 years in Aluminum and Glass Facade Company and with knowledge of Facade Design, Engineering, Design and Facade Architectural Calculation.
Roles and responsibilities:
a. Preparation of Architectural shop drawings /Engineering drawings.
b. Preparation of concept design (proposal) drawings.
c. Preparation of value engineering proposal design drawings.
d. Preparation of fabrication production.
drawings.
e. Preparation of technical compliances.
f. Preparation of material-technical submittals.
g. Preparation of technical presentations.
h. Review verification of Architectural/facade drawings.
i. Review verification of tender documents specifications
j. Review verification of thermal Analysis acoustic calculations.
k. Attend design and technical workshop meetings with main contractors, Architects facade consultants.
l. Liaise with manufacturers/suppliers for technical support inputs. m. Liaise with structural engineers consultants for structural design analysis.
n. Liaise with consultants/Architects for shop drawings material approval.
o. Liaise with Facade fire consultant (house of expertise) for civil defense approval.
p. Materials take off.
2. Aluminum Estimator /QS
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate Tender Documents, Shop Drawings, Specification, and Schedule
• Inquire with Main Contractor and Clients about any ambiguities in project information
• Produce accurate quantity survey of related scope
• Collect material prices from suppliers
• Negotiate prices and proposed products with suppliers
• Compile all available information to produce precise quotation • Propose value engineering solutions
• Support sales & marketing in securing new projects
• Hand over awarded projects to Technical, Production and Project Management Departments
Education:
A College Degree in Architectural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in the Aluminium and Glazing and Facade Industry Other
Skills: Highly organized with strong knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Estimation Software Programs .
