The Business Development Executive will promote all products, services and solutions and provide customers with comprehensive information of Bolloré Logistics services and requirements. Additionally, they will resolve customer request, questions and complaints.
• Conducts/ receives calls and follows up on the existing ones to identify new revenue opportunities and maintain existing accounts.
• Maintains close contact with internal sales support, sales, trade lane managers and operational staff for picking up lead and do joint sales calls.
• Builds and maintains relations with existing sales leads and decision makers by providing them with prompt and professional service
• Works with sales support team regularly to verify lead information, airline, shipping rates, schedules, capacity and feeding back market data to ensure the accuracy and availability of data in a timely manner
• Identifies trends in customer inquiries to ensure that the required stakeholders are updated of the information
• Sends out the required broadcast messages to all customers briefing them with the changes to any of the freight products under guidance from the sales team
• Develops reports regularly which include information on the number of the outgoing calls, outcome purpose and follows up on list of opportunities
• Resolve customer requests, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.
• Direct communication / dealing with clients, Airlines and Shipping lines.
• Assisting in both Air and Sea shipments for Import and Export departments.
• Handling network enquiries/tenders as and when required.
