Ably Resources are working with one of Qatar’s most prestigious companies and are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team
In this role you will be responsible for:
Participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle for cloud implementation and migration, including planning, requirements, development, testing and deployment
Ensuring the adherence to cloud architecture and design compliance
Participating in cloud operational incidents troubleshooting, identifying the root cause and permanent corrective actions
Continuously improving company cloud operations and practices within the team
Performing and managing cloud administrative activities in cloud management monitoring dashboard e.g. Azure Monitor, AWS Cost Explorer, and GCP Cloud Monitoring.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A Bachelors degree (required) and Masters Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an appropriate Engineering/ Business field
A minimum of 7 years experience in an Enterprise IT environment with at least 5 years of demonstrated cloud technology management
Cloud related professional certifications i.e. Microsoft Azure, Google, AWS & Cloud Security
Oil & Gas industry experience would be preferred
Strong working knowledge of managing cloud databases
Good knowledge of programming languages including C#. Elixr, Ruby Python, etc
In depth working knowledge of cloud management, execution and support
