We are searching for a Public Relations – Account Executive with relevant experience in the local or regional education sector to join our Arts and Culture practice, working in a full-time, client-facing role with a prestigious educational entity.
o Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, English or other related discipline
o Arabic language skills are highly valued.
o Some experience of working in a busy office environment or PR function is desirable.
o 1-3 years of experience.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
o Engage and interact with clients daily. This is a client-facing role.
o Plan and execute client activities in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner with minimal direction from supervisors.
o Media monitoring, research, and the preparation of media and social media recommendations for clients. Willingness to provide media monitoring and social support out-of-hours if required. Monitoring can include daily reports generated through media monitoring platforms and manual research.
o Provide support for messaging development, narrative workshops, the preparation of press material and briefing documents, management of media lists, and placement of stories.
o Primary responsibility for media relations, including identifying target reporters, keeping media lists up-to-date and maintaining relationships.
o Manage meeting agendas and take notes; produce meeting notes for account team within 24 hours
o Support on new business proposals including research, writing, and collation of resources.
o Provide client team support, attend internal meetings to gain understanding of key issues and seek feedback from account leaders on a regular basis.
o Ability to implement client brand guidelines and amend content to reflect client’s preferred style.
o Ensure the company remains abreast of news related to client interests.

o Primarily responsible for media monitoring, research, and administration tasks including the distribution of press releases, commentaries, and invitations to media
o Strive for detailed knowledge and understanding of account operations, client needs, project timelines and deliverables, and serve as the engine of the account.
o Work should be signed off by account lead before sending to client.
