Medical Sales Representative

Position Summary
As a Medical Sales Representative, you will serve as the principal liaison between the company and healthcare providers—such as hospitals, clinics, and medical practices—promoting and selling medical products or pharmaceutical solutions. Your role is to build strong, trusted relationships, educate clients on product benefits and features, and ultimately drive sales performance within an assigned territory while adhering to industry ethics and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize sales opportunities and growth within your assigned territory.
Client Engagement: Identify and engage decision-makers—physicians, pharmacists, and medical staff—through presentations, product demos, and educational visits.
Product Education & Support: Provide accurate, compliant product information, answer technical inquiries, and manage product samples to support client adoption.
Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term partnerships by understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and offering ongoing support.
Sales Performance: Achieve or exceed individual sales targets, monitor KPIs, and report on territory activity and results.
Compliance & Professionalism: Adhere strictly to ethical codes and industry regulations (e.g., PhRMA guidelines in the U.S., ABPI in the U.K.) in all interactions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree—preferably in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or business.
Proven experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or B2B sales; pharmaceutical or medical device experience is highly valued.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to strategize territory coverage and prioritize client interactions.
Strong drive for results, adaptability, and self-motivation.
Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
