Digital Content Specialist (Arabic)
ResponsibilitiesWithin delegated authority, the Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:
General:
● Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content.
● Plan, produce and create a program of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders.
● Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
● Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
● Participate in regular departmental and cross departmental progress meetings.
● Train and share knowledge with internal teams wherever possible to empower them to manage their own areas with ad-hoc support.
● Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal design team when necessary.
Branding and Marketing
● Create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content.
● Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
● Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of digital channels/activities using
tools like Google Analytics, SA360 and Bing feeding back to stakeholders and using the data to inform future activities.
● Contribute to and work with relevant team and stakeholders to develop, manage and
implement the digital side of integrated marketing campaigns.
● Contribute to online branding and possibilities that lead to more conversions, based on gathered data.
Ecommerce
● Contribute to website development and optimization; identify the areas for improvement.
● Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
Education and work experience:● Degree in field of marketing and communication or online/digital marketing or a similar field.
● Experience in creating strong, engaging content for different digital channels like social, search, web and blogs.
● A portfolio of applicable outputs.
● An understanding of SEO best practices.
● Experience with content management systems (WordPress).
Competencies:● Fluency, both written and verbal, in Arabic and knowledge of the English language is required.
● Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
● Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
● Ability to manage several projects at the same time and look ahead to up-and-coming events.
● Strong listening and communication skills.
● The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
● Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
● Accustomed to a project-based way of working
