Insulation Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers.
Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures. Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
Job Requirements:
High School or Technical Diploma or Associate’s Degree
7 to 10 years of experience
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes & methods and the tools involved in the fabrication, installation of insulation and aluminium jacketing for maximizing the effective manufacture
Knowledge of business and resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources, and meeting quality standards
Knowledge of machines and tools, uses, repair, and maintenance
Good English Language and good PC skills
Skills & Experience
Experience with Bitumen, Polyurethane, and Polyurea.
