 Autodesk Design Inventor – Facade

Job Location: Qatar

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing design concept drawings and fixing details using tools Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D and 2D facade design concepts in line with project IFC and Specification.
• Create detailed 3D and 2D technical drawings and specifications for facade systems, considering structural, thermal, and acoustic requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with structural and mechanical engineers to ensure the integration of facade systems with the overall building structure and services.
• Provide material quantity take-offs to initiate procurement.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for the development of accurate and feasible facade designs. Work closely with on-site teams to address design challenges during construction.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of facade designs, Including drawings, specifications, and revisions.
• Creating production drawings, BOM, output list, cutting list, job order for the fabrication of aluminium, steel, glass and other accessories.
• Hands on experience in 3D modelling, facade detailing, fabrication of frameless glass partitions, spider glazing, ACP claddings, back panels, sky lights, canopies, balustrades, handrails, louver etc using 3D Autodesk Inventor (Part modelling, sheet metal modelling and assemblies) and 2D AutoCAD.
• Complex facade modelling, detailing and fabrications in 3D for different curtain wall systems, doors and windows etc as per approved shop drawings.
• Supporting works for preparing MTO, analysis and optimization of materials needed, all other miscellaneous activities for the project.
