Position Overview:
As the BIM Manager with Preferred Facade Experience, you will lead our BIM initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of BIM processes across projects with a specific focus on facade systems. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully implementing BIM methodologies and a keen understanding of facade design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of BIM processes, with a specialized focus on facade systems.
Collaborate with senior management to align BIM goals with overall company objectives.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with project teams, guiding them in the integration of BIM into all phases of projects with an emphasis on facade design.
Provide mentorship and support to BIM coordinators and modelers, ensuring adherence to facade-related standards.
Facade Expertise:
Leverage your expertise in facade design principles, materials, and construction methods to enhance the BIM process.
Collaborate with project teams to optimize facade performance through BIM analysis and simulations.
Standards and Protocols:
Establish and enforce company-wide BIM standards and protocols, with a specific focus on facade modeling.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with established facade-related BIM guidelines.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver specialized BIM training programs related to facade systems for staff at all levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a BIM Manager, with a strong background in successfully implementing BIM on large-scale projects.
In-depth knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Bentley AECOsim, or similar.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Significant experience and expertise in facade design principles, materials, and construction methods.
