Key Tasks:

–  Manage daily accounting activities including the general ledger and supervision of cash reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions and debt activity.

–  Ensure high-quality and reliable provision of financial analysis to the operations team.

–  Ensure adequate cash and movement of funds in various trusts, implementing effective controls, ensuring that allocations are accurate, revenues are recorded, expenses are within budgets and fiscal practices are followed.

–  Prepare financial statements with analysis, financial reports while solving any finance-related issue and ascertaining the accuracy of posting.

–  Compile financial reports involving the Authority’s trust accounts for monthly board meetings and draft the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) closing statements and financial statements.

Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks:

–  Lead and align the department with Idealization, Vision, Environment and Execution.

–  Be an inspiration leader by strong principles and commitment to the organization based on organization, resilience and agility.

–  Lead, maintain and monitor the task management systems for his/her subordinates.

–  Lead, develop and implement KPIs to align metrics within the company’s vision, in relation to its goals and strategy.

–  Recommend training and professional development of staff.

Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

Education: BSc. or MSc. in Accounting/Finance. Software Literacy: SAP BO and MS Office Suite.

Experience: 10+ years.

Knowledge: Client Management, Finance, Accounting, Accounting Standards IFRS, Advanced

Financial Analysis. Skills: Analytical and Logical Thinking, Accountability, Assertiveness, Attention to Detail, Commitment, Communication, Directing, Leadership, Listening, Monitoring, Negotiation, Organization, Problem Solving, Strategic Management, Stress Management, Teamwork, Time Management.
