Engineering Lead (Technical Lead Engineer)
Principal Accountabilities
Reports to Project Manager.
Responsible for the overall management and control of engineering activities.
Organizing and planning all engineering work on the project.
Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
Ensure project requirements including regulatory, statutory and contractual requirement are being met.
Review engineering deliverables by the engineering subcontractors and vendors.
Manage and coordinate with Engineering Subcontractor.
Manage Engineering document control and handling.
Manage and resolve interface issues with COMPANY or all government authorities such QG/RLIC or any other third-party owner.
Communication of technical and interface issues to Project Manager.
Requirement
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar with 12-15 Years experience.
Master’s degree in Project Management or related technical field desirable.
Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
Experience in working within RLIC or other industrial location in Qatar will be an added advantage
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
