A private family office here in Qatar which is a leader in Real Estate is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all aspects of our financial operations. As the CFO, you will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company’s growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business objectives, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
– Lead and manage the finance and accounting team to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
– Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
– Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders to ensure access to capital and support the company’s growth objectives
– Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities, including real estate investments and acquisitions
– Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
– Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness
– Participate in the development and execution of new business ventures and partnerships
– Present financial information and analysis to the board of directors and executive team, and make recommendations based on analysis

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
– 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in real estate or a related industry
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
– Proven track record of success in financial leadership positions, with experience managing a team of finance and accounting professionals
– Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights and recommendations
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner
– Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
– Experience with real estate investments and acquisitions is a plus
