The Control Panel Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels based on schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions. This role ensures that control panels meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematic diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications.
·Install and connect electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, motor starters, transformers, and terminal blocks.
·Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of control panels to ensure proper operation.
·Identify and resolve wiring issues, component failures, and circuit faults.
·Read & interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, &
technical documentation.
·Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
·Assist with field installations, commissioning, and technical support when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation.
·Minimum 3-5 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, or electrical panel manufacturing.
·Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and panel layout design.
·Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
·Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.
·Basic knowledge of PLC PROGRAMMING and INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION is a plus.
Work Environment:
·Work is typically performed in a workshop or manufacturing environment and site visits for installation or troubleshooting.
Offered Salary: QAR 1500 + 300 (FA)
Duty : 08 hours/06 days week
