SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (URGENT)

Job description / Role
The key objectives of the role will be to:
Ensure and review project management compliance related to Projects
• Liaise with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage various Projects
• Lead planning and implementation of the project
• Facilitate the definition of project scope and goals
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full-scale project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget
• Manage project resource allocation
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance
• Strong presentation skills (creating and delivering)
• Ensure projects are moving forward
• Preparing presentations for workshops, management meetings, etc.
• Managing Senior Management Team meetings and strategic workshops
• Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for specific project delivery across all disciplines (technical, commercial, project controls (programme, planning, risk, systems compliance etc.))
• Management of the entire construction project
– Managing and directing the development and maintenance of the program and project schedules for all phases of the project including planning, design and construction.
• Establish an execution strategy for individual projects
• Day-to-day overall management of projects
• Responsible for delivery of individual Projects
• Accountable for individual project success, reporting up to the Associate Project Managers
• Implementation of all procedural requirements as defined in the Quality Plan
• Manage project risk and implement agreed mitigation measures
• Implement essential control measures, systems, project procedures in line with the status of the projects
• Chair and record meetings. Follow up on assigned tasks through to completion
• Work with planners to develop specific project schedules and provide early warning of risks to the timeline
• Provide key information to Project Controls for regular Client reporting
• Identify issues related to quality, cost or time and advise on corrective actions
Requirements
– Min 15 years of experience in Qatar
-Nationality: Any nationality
• The role requires construction, civil engineering, high rise, building, tower Building projects experience,
• University degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field such as, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Procurement or Construction Management or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Evidence of suitable professional qualification PMP, MRICS or equivalent is preferable
• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Arabic language skill will be an advantage
• Chartered engineer status from a recognized institution will be an advantage
• Experience of working in Qatar and/or the Gulf region.
