Facility Technician

Facility Technician job vacancy in Doha, Qatar. We are a smart-mobility provider that will be offering Qatar a new array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

·       Provide a bullet point checklist of the responsibilities and duties of this job on a daily basis

·       Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, electricity and Air-condition systems, are well-maintained

·       Plan and coordinate all installations (plumber, Air-conditioning, electricity, water etc.) and renovations or refurbishments

·       Allocate warehouse space according to needs of the team

·       Inspect the warehouse structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations

·       Review utility consumption and strive to minimize costs

·       Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.

·       advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness

·       drafting reports and making written recommendations.

Facility Technician: Qualifications·      

Education level:

–        BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field

–        Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage

·       Experience: 05 years of proven experience as a facilities Technician or relevant position role in transportation or logistic industries in Qatar.  (mandatory)

Specific skills:

·       Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

·       Strong attention to details, and able to enforce processes

·       Good English language skills

·       Motivated, energetic individual who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves

·       A great attitude and ability to work well with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams (mandatory)

·       Organization, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload

·       Analytical and logical thinker
