Falcon Ride WLL
Falcon Ride WLL is currently looking for a Temporary Financial Expert (duration: one month) for launching a project opportunity in Doha.
This Financial Expert’s role will be to provide services in financial planning, financial viability analysis of projects, project financing, cost-benefit analysis, bank reconciliation, and sales projections.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Budget Preparation – Responsible for the budget preparation and monitor to ensure funds are spent as intended.
Internal Cost Controls – reviewing proposals, budgetary control, and accounting reviews.
Sales Projection – Work with Country Manager to understand the scope and use of the forecast to provide a sales project plan with key deliverables listed by date.
Business Ventures – Review and prepare an analysis of new business ventures and review contracts for compliance with financial terms, policy, and process in Qatar.
Bank Reconciliations – undertake monthly bank reconciliations
Management Reporting – Preparation of financial reports and strategic planning, monitor execution of financial plans by tracking risk, controls, opportunities and driving corrective action in cooperation with the Country Manager.
EDUCATION
At least a Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Master’s Degree) in related discipline from a recognized university.
CERTIFICATIONS
Must be registered with the relevant professional body such as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants or related body.
Must have a current practising license from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants or related body.
EXPERIENCE/INDUSTRY
Minimum 5 years of proven work experience as a Financial Expert (Preferably in accounting within the transportation industry) in Qatar
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations in Qatar
Rich experience in E-commerce and E-banking industries
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Excellent English language skills (mandatory)
Excellent technical writing skills (mandatory).
Experience in preparing project reports, and/or publications.
Proficient in the use of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc)
Advanced knowledge of accounting ERP Implementation (SAP, SAGE, Tally…).
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Ability to deliver work within tight deadlines and handle heavier work pressure near deadlines.
