The primary role of the IELTS instructor will be to teach students how to improve their English language skills specifically in preparation for the IELTS test. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a second language, a thorough knowledge of the IELTS exam format, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting IELTS test preparation classes and helping students to achieve their desired scores.
Creating lesson plans that address the individual needs of students, including grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Providing timely feedback and evaluations to students to help them improve their English language proficiency.
Tracking student progress and identifying areas where additional support may be needed.
Staying up-to-date with changes in the IELTS exam format and preparing students accordingly.
Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience teaching English as a second language, preferably with a focus on IELTS test preparation.
Strong knowledge of the IELTS exam format and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse student populations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
