We’re Hiring: Project Manager – Roads & Infrastructure (Civil)
Location: Qatar
Salary: Up to QAR 20,000 monthly + Other benefits
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our upcoming Roads & Infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing similar projects within Qatar, particularly with previous exposure to major Qatari companies. It is important that the candidate is currently living in Qatar, holds a transferable visa, and can join us immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and supervise all activities related to assigned infrastructure projects, ensuring completion within cost and time schedules.
-Provide regular updates on project progress, status, deviations, and necessary changes.
-Approve payments and reimbursements related to project activities, ensuring all financial matters are in order.
-Inspect and review ongoing projects to ensure compliance with construction and safety codes, coordinating with Quality, Safety, and Environmental personnel.
-Provide day-to-day direction to ensure project alignment with client requirements and organizational standards.
-Communicate roles and responsibilities to ensure project completion in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, adhering to relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
-Assist the Construction Manager in addressing work procedures, complaints, and construction issues. Review and approve contract changes as recommended by the Construction Manager.
-Offer technical input during the design and development phases of projects, collaborating closely with the Design Department.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Must hold an MMUP/UPDA license. PMP certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, including design and construction. At least 5 years of experience in the Qatar/GCC region is required.
Skills:
-Strong understanding of codes, design manuals, and construction practices.
-Ability to interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
-Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to propose effective solutions.
-Proven leadership skills in team building, staff organization, and work prioritization.
-Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Language: Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
