As a Help Desk Engineer, you will be the first line of support for technical issues and service requests. You will troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents related to internet connectivity, equipment, network infrastructure, and user inquiries. Your role will involve both 1st and 2nd level support, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support via email, phone, and ticketing systems (BMC Remedy).
Receive, analyze, and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, networks, and infrastructure.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or major incidents and implement solutions.
Escalate and coordinate with field technicians and other departments to resolve complex issues.
Execute recommendations from third-party vendors and ensure follow-up
Support remote troubleshooting and urgent incident recovery.
Collaborate with security teams on incident follow-ups and system analysis tasks.
Develop user guides, manuals, and technical documentation.
Manage equipment transfers ensuring security and operational integrity.
Maintain documentation and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Ensure compliance with SLA response and resolution times.
Schedule and apply updates, patches, and support planned maintenance windows.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience with BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, and infrastructure components.
Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
Excellent communication skills for user support and collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various technical teams
Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
