Job Title:IT Project Manager – Consultant
Organization: QNB (Qatar National Bank)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary:21,000 QAR/month + benefits under Qatar Labor Law
Job Purpose
Lead and manage a portfolio of IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage IT projects using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., PMI).
– Build strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
– Coordinate cross-functional IT teams to drive project progress.
– Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to senior management.
– Prepare project documentation (initiation, status, closure reports).
– Mitigate risks and manage project scope effectively.
– Ensure compliance with security policies and data confidentiality.
– Support audits and provide timely reporting to compliance teams.
Qualifications & Experience
– Education: Bachelor’s Degree (IT/Engineering/Business).
– Certification: PMI Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
– Experience: 8+ years managing IT projects in banking/financial services
– Preferred: MBA/Master’s Degree; banking/management certifications.
Required Skills
– Expert project management & stakeholder engagement.
– Exceptional English communication (written & verbal).
– Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
– Leadership, team motivation, and adaptability.
Location
– Based at QNB IT Office (Qatar).
