Junior Structural Design Engineer
Requirements:
MMUP Grade: Minimum grade of Trainee
Valid QID: Must possess a Qatar ID
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Field Experience:
Good understanding of structural elements in both steel and reinforced concrete systems
Familiar with Qatar Construction Standards and relevant design codes
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD – with extensive hands-on experience in drafting:
Detailed structural plans, sections, and drawings for steel structures (beams, columns, trusses, connections, base plates, etc.)
Precise structural drawings for concrete elements (footings, slabs, beams, columns, staircases, etc.)
Working knowledge of structural design software such as:
ETABS
SAFE
STAAD Pro
Ability to prepare structural designs, reports, and calculation sheets
Other:
Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn
Able to work efficiently within a collaborative team environment and under supervision
