Kubernetes Platform Administrator

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Kubernetes Platform Administrator who’s ready to make a significant impact within our dynamic team here in Doha, Qatar.

Job Title: Kubernetes Platform Administrator
Location: Qatar
Contract: Yearly Renewable

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy and operate container infrastructure based on Red Hat OpenShift
• Automate deployment and management of containerized applications on the platform
• Configure and administer OpenShift and Kubernetes Clusters
• Maintain, configure, and monitor containers using Infrastructure as Code principles in Development, Test, and Live environments
• Manage Kubernetes tools for backup and recovery (Kasten, Portworx, ArgoCD, etc.)
• Develop applications using containers, leveraging API and CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Tekton, etc.)
• Expert in scripting with Python, YAML, Shell, etc.
• Work with service mesh, proxy, container technologies, and load balancing (Nginx, HAproxy, etc.)
• Contribute to and support the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy
• Assist in change management of container platforms for new versions, hotfixes, system admin tasks, etc.
• Optimize cluster consumption, cost, and evolution
• Perform RCA for cluster-related issues and assist development teams as necessary
• Engage in 24/7 production support as part of an on-call support team (rotation)
