We are seeking a KM-approved Transmission and Distribution Protection Engineer for support activities at substations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support BCU OEM engineers in updating the firmware of BCUs.
Perform typical bay testing, including:
2. Testing of BCU signals (hardware I/Os, CTVT measurements, synchro checks).
3. Testing of signals from protection relays to SCS.
4. Support SCS engineers in clearing punch points related to BCU/protection signals.
Requirements
1. Approved by KM for Transmission & Distribution protection works.
2. Strong technical knowledge of BCU systems, protection relays, and bay-level testing
3. Prior experience in substation testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
4. Ability to work closely with OEM and SCS teams.
5. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
