Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Analyzing financial information, reconciling accounts, and providing financial reports to support decision-making within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documentation.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze financial data and provide insights into the organization’s financial performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget variances.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in financial reporting.
Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Provide support during audits and work with external auditors.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role with 5+ years.
Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
