Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Job Description:
Facility Management & Maintenance (FMM) is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join our team. The ideal candidates shall have a strong background in managing the daily operations and maintenance of commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
*To supervise and control the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of mechanical equipment’s in a safe manner, in accordance with client procedures and accepted technical standards. The equipment includes, but not limited to cooling towers, condenser & chilled water pumps, Tertiary pumps, ozone generators, air compressors, fire pumps, water treatment system, Sanitary fixtures, vacuum pumps, wet and dry sprinkler system, pipe work related to water and irrigation systems and associated equipment’s like motorized valves etc.
The operation of the system / equipment includes but not limited to:
1. Centrifugal Pumps including potable water, chilled water and fire water systems
2. Diesel Generators, Air Compressors and Vacuum Pumps
Key Accountabilities:
A. Participates in, and personally carries out the complex installation repair and maintenance of all the mechanical systems.
B. Supervise Installation, repairs and maintenance of water distribution pipe works, valves of all types of potable water, chilled water, waste water and drainage systems.
C. Supervise repairs of all flush valves, mixers, sanitary fittings, and fixtures.
D. Supervise repairs all health and recreation facilities plumbing and mechanical installations. Cleans, clears all drainage systems and soak-away, gutters and rain water pipes.
E. To generate daily operation reports, shift reports, plan trip reports, Reports that relate to PTLS and other operations related activities.
F. To initiate/process/monitor the work requests in CAFM or any other computerized system or in through any other Computerized system or through manual process as adapted by client
Requirements:
*At least 10 years of varied maintenance and operational experience varied experience in the field of Mechanical maintenance. The incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
*Completion of Diploma/Degree Certification of at least 3 years duration.
+Good knowledge of English, (both written and understanding technical manuals) is essential.
+ An aptitude and experience in large capacity water cooling systems & projects having piping and associated works, irrigation systems is essential.
+ Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
