The PMV Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of all plant, machinery, and vehicles within the organization. The role will ensure that equipment is kept in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime, and enhancing operational efficiency. The position requires close coordination with various departments to align maintenance schedules and operations. The PMV Maintenance Manager will also manage a team of technicians, ensuring that maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy for all plant, machinery, and vehicles to maximize uptime.
• Oversee routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all PMVs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Provide leadership in troubleshooting, repairs, and the day-to-day management of the PMV maintenance operations.
• Control the maintenance budget and seek cost-efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor performance of equipment.
• Work closely with other departments, including operations, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment between PMV maintenance activities and business needs.
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to PMV maintenance, including downtime, repair times, and cost savings.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Logistics Director to strategize long-term maintenance and asset management plans.
Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in plant, machinery, and vehicle maintenance, with a proven track record of managing large teams.
• Experience in a senior maintenance or managerial role within logistics, manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in PMVs.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in maintenance.
Must have valid QID and NOC.
