The Projects Control Manager is responsible for scheduling, costing and coordinating all projects requirements from the various departments within the company to ensure they are tracking to target. They will continually review and update requirements and deliverables so that project and department performance against plan is completely transparent. In coordination with Project Controls Head. They will liaise closely with project management, design scheduling, materials coordinator, production planning, logistics and accounts.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize proficient planning software/tools and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Critical Path Analysis (CPM) and Earned Value Analysis (EV).
- Serve as an ERP Super User, facilitating knowledge transfer to optimize system utilization among users.
- Contribute to the development and mentorship of fellow staff members.
- Aid in establishing robust data collection systems to monitor company performance, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to minimize waste effectively.
- Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach, setting an example through leadership style and work ethic.
Experience & Education:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as Project Planning or Manufacturing Management.
- Accumulate 5+ years of experience in a GMP or process-driven manufacturing industry.
- Possess at least 5 years of pertinent experience as a master scheduler.
- Preference for experience in the Middle East or Gulf Region.
- Background in the façade industry is advantageous.
- Exhibit a strong sense of commercial awareness and the ability to meet project targets.
