Implement Quality control and ensure the testing and inspection of raw materials to determine whether their characteristics, properties and quality meet the standards and specifications, documenting and communicating results.
Operational:
Test and set up lab equipment and tools for testing, which includes calibrating equipment and instruments and testing them to ensure they function properly.
carries out a wide range of sampling and testing of civil construction materials, both in the laboratory and in the field
Maintaining the daily lab works.
Perform testing in accordance with international standards.
Ensure the produces material complying with the standards
Analysis of test data and corrective action to non-conforming products
Prepare and maintain the laboratory safety plan / manual and ensure adherence accordingly.
Be familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to the laboratory and ensure it is in compliance with the required QPMC standards.
Coordinate the training programs for new joiners in Laboratory and ensure that they obtain adequate knowledge regarding testing procedures and laboratory protocol.
Prepare and organize all data and findings, inputting all data in necessary files and systems and creating documents and presentations to communicate results.
People:
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers / contractors.
Contribute to the people development initiatives within the department.
Initiate work quality, professionalism, and dedication to achieve department goals.
Qualification and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering or any related discipline is required.
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience is required.
Good command of English language is required.
Proficient in MS office tools.
