As a Sales Manager (Landscape), you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong client relationships within the landscape industry. You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance the team’s selling skills and product knowledge.
Set clear expectations, monitor performance metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and promotional campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients.
New Business Development:

Identify and target potential clients through prospecting, networking, and market research.
Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to showcase the company’s landscape solutions.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads and promote the company’s offerings.
Sales Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Generate sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Communicate market feedback, client insights, and competitive intelligence to inform product and service enhancements.
Budget Management:

Contribute to the development of the sales budget and manage expenses within approved budgetary limits.
Monitor and control costs associated with sales activities, travel, and client entertainment.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in sales management within the landscape or related industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of landscape design, construction, and maintenance is a plus.
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
