AV Operator

Description
To provide AV support at wedding events
Setting-up AV Equipment, Lighting Equipment, Dance floors, and Staging
Preparing & Checking equipment for events and ensuring Health and Safety are adhered to.
A responsible attitude both towards your colleagues and to clients when attending conferences, events and weddings
Operating and /or working on Live Events
Operating and Installing IT Equipment, Projectors and Audio Equipment
De-rigging and checking equipment back into the warehouse
Can operate and control the stage lights (knowing how to connect location sets,  lay electrical cables, wire fixtures, install color effects or image patterns, focus the lights, and create effects or programming sequences )

Skills & Experience
• Have a keen interest in Media with experience in using projectors, visual mixers, LED walls, HDMI over Cat5, power point and switcher/scalers.

• Have an understanding of resolutions, aspect ratios and cable limitations.

• Have previous AV experience and/or experience working within the events industry

• You should have experience of delivering a high quality service to all types of client’s, have excellent client facing skills and good communication skills.

• A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player.

• Ability to work long hours on events when required due to the nature of the events industry.

• Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly. You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues.
