Head of Arabic, Islamic Studies & Qatar History
❖ As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, with responsibility for developing and implementing provision, in accordance with the Ministry of Education regulations as well as monitoring and evaluating student progress and achievement. You will also be a member of the Founding leadership team of the Academy.
❖ The ideal candidate will be an innovative practitioner, and leader who will be able to develop the team to deliver Arabic, Islamic and Qatar History in an engaging, motivating way that builds upon current pedagogy in the International environment. You will be a role model for the team encouraging and formulating learning that not only meets the Ministry of Education regulations but exceeds these expectations.
❖ You will need to be able to fully converse in English to a high standard – written and spoken and ideally have an understanding of the American Curriculum.
