Duties and Responsibilities
Q.C. In-Charge
Ø Oversee water treatment and RO operations so that the supply of water is as per quality norms and sufficient to meet production demand.
Ø Ensure complete sanitization of plant, machinery & equipment as prescribed from time to time as per government regulations.
Ø Monitor online product quality and FG stock, report issues if any, identify and isolate defective products, and take appropriate actions to ensure no product with any quality defect/s is dispatched to the customer.
Ø Inform the Management about any issues with respect to water, packaging or product quality and standards at the plant related to licenses issued by BIS, FSSAI etc.
Ø Responsible for Microbiological analysis, Chemical analysis, Lab Chemicals and Production Chemicals purchase and maintaining stock
Ø Train new joiners on the standards & SOPs
Ø Responsible for outside lab testing as per BIS and follow up., FG hold and release.
Ø Complaint handling and root cause analysis.
Ø Lab equipment maintenance, Lab administration work, and upgrade.
Ø CGWA – Borewell, Flow meter and piezometer daily check.
Ø Pest Control procedure and confirmation.
Ø Prepare SOP for new activities and equipment.

Ø Responsible for operations of water treatment facilities in an effective and efficient manner.
Ø Checking and approval of labels, Closures, Preforms, Jars, Palates, Glue, Ink and make up etc
Ø Supervision of R.O., Minerals dosing, Ozone dosing, filtration, CIP, and Laboratory checks such as Micro and chemical analysis.
Ø Supervise all staff regarding plant hygiene cleaning of equipment, personal hygiene and Quality of products.
Ø Conduct in-house training, and quality audits and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits like HACCP, ISO, and GSO etc.
Ø Carries out various test procedures, CIP and process calculations required for monitoring the water treatment process.
Ø Responsible for in-house, outside lab testing of Raw and Finished product water, Pet bottles, Preforms, jars testing etc.
Ø Supervise workers engaged in inspection, operations and testing activities to ensure good quality and productivity.
Ø Assuring that all microbiological testing and chemical testing are properly performed and monitoring sanitation requirements of the facilities.
Ø Online quality checks, process control and package appearance of the product etc.
Ø Monitoring of product hold and dispatch system.
