Job Vacancy: Chief Accountant
Location: Qatar, Doha
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
· Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
· Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management.
· Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as necessary.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CMA or CPA certification preferred.
· 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in accounting software SAP Success Factor. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
