Job Title – Quality Control Support

Year of experience – 6+ years
Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years in IT sector especially in Banking platform
• Minimum 2+ years in software testing automation tools
• Minimum 4+ years in Banking systems (involvement in testing activities of Finastra Equation core banking system, HPS power card system, Biztalk middleware and their associated applications)
Educational Qualifications:
• UG or PG degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Certification in Software Testing Methodology

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
INTERNAL
• Assisting Unit Head of IT Governance and Quality Control in developing and implementing quality management policies, procedures and standards including system documentation, naming conventions, security, backup and data recovery.
• Ensure quality and consistency in all activities that you are involved in across the Bank in applications, systems and ITD operations.
• Discuss Quality Assurance reports with Direct Manager on a timely basis to build a good understanding of activity /projects happening across the organization.
• Ensure that the deliverables produced at the end of each phase of activity comply with user requirements.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures relevant to the IT Division through periodic testing.
• Work with the Direct Manager to ensure the implementation of appropriate change management procedures to govern the movement of Technology projects from test to a live production environment.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
• Provide timely and accurate information to the management, external and internal auditors and the Compliance function as and when required.
• Perform QC testing (SIT, Regression and Functional) of systems/products/applications before UAT.
• Coordinate with business users/owners till successful completion of UAT.
