Auto Electrician / Computer Technician
Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Purpose:
To perform electrical and electronic diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery. Responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, vehicle control units, and computer-related components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and ignition systems in vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Identify and repair faults in vehicle electrical components, such as alternators, starters, batteries, and control modules.
• Perform computer diagnostics using specialized tools and software to detect issues in vehicle control systems (ECU, sensors, ABS, etc.).
• Repair or replace faulty electronic components and wiring harnesses.
• Calibrate and reprogram vehicle control units (ECU) when necessary.
• Capable of handling computer calibration for MAN and ACTORS Trucks to ensure our maintenance operations continue smoothly.
• Maintain and update diagnostic tools and records of repairs performed.
• Test and ensure that repaired systems are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanics and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
• Follow all safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop area.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Auto Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Vehicle Computer Technician, preferably in heavy vehicles or ready-mix industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, sensors, CAN bus systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer literacy for diagnostic reporting.
