Hiring – Data Engineer – Azure – Doha
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data integration, and data warehousing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data models that support business goals
• Build and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouse
• Write and maintain code in SQL and/or programming languages such as Python, C#, or Scala
• Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines and data models • Create and maintain monitoring and alerts for data pipeline failures
• Optimize and improve data pipeline performance
• Work with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and solve data-related problems
Qualifications:
• MSc / BSc Degree with minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, practices, data governance and data management best practices
• Experience in SQL, DAX and one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, or Scala, Azure Platform, TL tools and frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus
