Educational Qualifications: Engineering with relevant training certificates demonstrating progressive training relevant to laboratory operations
Minimum Work Experience: 2-4 Years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine laboratory testing, including but not limited to:
Testing fresh concrete
a. Slump Test
b. Sampling
c. Density
d. Air Content (Pressure Method)
Testing hardened concrete
a. Making and curing specimens for the strength of test specimens
b. Compressive strength of test specimen
Aggregates
a. Method of sampling
b. Methods of reducing laboratory samples
c. Determination of particle size distribution (and dust content)
d. Determination of particle density and water absorption
e. Determination of loose bulk density and voids
The temperature of freshly mixed hydraulic cement concrete
Standard test method for slump flow of self-consolidating concrete
Method of determination of moisture
