Job Posting: IT Engineer (Healthcare support Background)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare informatics, application, and implementation support, as well as expertise in various IT systems and tools. Exceptional customer service skills and troubleshooting abilities are a must.
Responsibilities:
– Provide application support for healthcare IT systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
– Implement and support healthcare informatics solutions to optimize system performance and user experience.
– Manage Windows servers and ensure their smooth operation.
– Maintain and manage Active Directory for user authentication and security.
– Monitor and manage network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
– Administer firewall systems to protect the organization’s network from external threats.
– Experience with Mirth Connect or equivalent integration engine for seamless data exchange between systems.
– Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV.
– Knowledge of HL7 and ASTM integration standards to facilitate interoperability between different healthcare systems.
– Provide middleware and LIS support for laboratory information systems integration.
– Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and end-users.
– Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
– Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution support to end-users.
Qualifications:
– Min bachelor’s degree in IT
– preferably candidates with a healthcare IT background
