We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving ability for the position of IT Support. The duties of an IT Support include being a reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties.
Responsibilities:
· Providing first level user support for government provided applications (Finance, Procurement, Tender, HR, others).
· Preparing and providing training workshops for employees in other departments on how to use the different software.
· Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
· Acting as first level support for users, and escalating the issues to other related IT entities and vendors when needed.
· Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting to all IT related matters, whether it’s software or hardware.
· Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
· Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
· Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers and mobile devices.
· Knowledge in on-premise and cloud Microsoft Active Directory administration.
· Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange administration.
· Knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint.
· Knowledge in ERP system administration (SAP, Oracle EBS)
· Performing acceptance tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
· Creating and managing technical documentation of the IT systems infrastructure.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems maintenance, computer networks, and government software.
· A+, Linux+, Cisco, Microsoft certifications and accreditation are advantageous.
· Proficient in database administration and software installation.
· Attention to detail.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Preferably Arabic native speakers, with good written and verbal English.
