Provide overall leadership, guidance and direction to Security Operations Centre (SOC) team on a 24x7x365 basis, to ensure that Qatar Petroleum is able to appropriately monitor and detect cybersecurity-related crises or urgent situations, mitigating immediate and potential threats.
Experience & Skills
15+ years of overall experience in Information Security / Cybersecurity experience.
15+ years of overall experience in Information Security / Cybersecurity experience.
7+ years working in a Security Operations Centre with leading SIEM software.
2+ years of running an integrated SOC based on ICT and ICS systems preferably in the Energy sector.
7+ years in a leadership role.
Experience in building and maintaining a high-performance team of monitoring and threat hunting analysts.
Knowledgeable with global and regional regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. NISS, NIA, Qatar Data Protection Law etc.)
Possess demonstrable skills for designing Security Operations Centre procedures, programs and services across a globally diverse environment.
Education
Bachelor degree in information security, computer science, or systems engineering
