We are currently seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Storekeeper to join our team. As a Warehouse Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our stockroom operations.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Maintaining accurate records of stockroom receipts, withdrawals, and inventory levels.
2. Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies in a timely manner.
3. Performing various stock-related tasks such as returning, packing, pricing, and labeling.
4. Inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies and reporting those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
5. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all
documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
6. Ensuring cleanliness and organization within the store to facilitate efficient operations.
7. Categorizing materials and stocking them in appropriate locations.
8. Taking proactive measures for the care and preservation of materials.
9. Conducting periodic stock verifications to ensure accuracy.
10. Issuing materials to departments as per schedule and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
11. Generating reports and participating in audits conducted by external auditors.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or record-keeping.
3. Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management practices.
4. Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficiency in data entry, Excel, analysis, and management.
7. Ability to pay close attention to detail and effectively manage time.
8. Physical capability to frequently lift and carry materials.
