●        Assess patients’ physical abilities through evaluative procedures such as functional ability tests.

●        Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnoses.

●        Plan and implement programs of physiotherapy including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, the use of electro-therapeutic and other mechanical equipment.

●        Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and modify accordingly.

●        Communicate with referring physician and other healthcare professionals regarding patients’ problems, needs and progress.

●        Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other health care professionals.

●        Provide consulting or education services.

●        Working with special needs infants and toddlers who are suffering from a variety of medical conditions such as cognitive development delay, low muscle tone, mobility impairment and developmental co-ordination disorder.

●        Supporting patients recovering from surgery

●        Assisting patients recovering from a wide range of accidents (sports, fall or car accidents resulting in back, neck, limb or joint conditions)

●        Treating OPD patients including application of modalities (Ultra sound, laser therapy, TENS, stimulation, Short wave diathermy, traction unit) and advising home program.

●        Taking care of patients of admitted in IPD, applying physiotherapy treatment twice a day (morning & afternoon session).

●        To be responsible for maintenance of records for patients of IPD & OPD.

●        Prescribing exercise as a home program and giving advice as precautions to be taken by patient.

●        Supporting elderly people to increase their mobility and liaising with the Occupational Therapists to ensure that the patients have access to all the equipment, devices and resources that they require

●        Performing routine physical examinations and inspections

●        Liaising with GPs, doctors, nurses, consultants, OTs and other health or social care professional regarding a wide range of medical issues

●        Assisting the pediatric consultants with diagnosing certain diseases

●        Maintaining a high standard of work and professionalism at all times
