The following are my activities at Syngenta Pollen;
1. Drive Results
*Ensuring production targets for quality product is
met, quantity ordered and timely (QUOTIF)
* Arranging for each crop best harvesting practice,
following the crop capacities with the Growing,
Quality and capacity planning teams.
* Secure season preparation requirements i.e.
sterilized media, pots, greenhouse sterilization and
staggering the pots after planting, timely and in the
correct manner
2. Labor Management
*Efficient and timely labor distribution in all
sections based on the season’s and budgeted labour
planning.
* Ensure timely updates of the labor capacity files
working closely with the PM and the HR services
Lead KEPO.
* Provide general worker leave schedules to HR and
ensure implementation.
3. Leadership
*Enhance your stakeholder management skills by
ensuring proper coordination and communication
with the PM, QA, Growing team, Operations team,
Propagation, Capacity planner and Logistics teams.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive training
and development plan for the Operations team ”
from down – up”.
4. Conducting HSE and Phyto weekly tours.
* Management of HSE and Phyto talks and training
* Leading teams to real behavioral safety as a
change agent
