 Determines the validity of requests for refund submitted by
importers/exporters and their representatives.
 Updates database in the national on-line Customs Commercial System
computer terminal to reflect Advance Rulings, and decisions rendered on B2
adjustment requests and/or officer generated reviews.
 Processes B2 Adjustment claims, creates and processes non-complex
batches under the Adjustment Sub-system of the Customs Commercial
System (CCS), Drawback Inventory System (BARKS) and the Refund Cheque
Issuance System (RCIS) to finalize the processing B2 adjustments and to
input decisions by officers in the different program areas.
 Controls and maintains a locked storage area for import samples.
