Responsibilities as a Head QA & QC:
o Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
o Execution, monitoring and maintaining Vendor Improvement Program (VIP) – a collective effort of Metaline Industries (PVT) Ltd. and Atlas Honda Limited (AHL) to ensure the delivery of quality products to Atlas Honda Limited.
o Controlling of Product Quality by implementing the Appropriate Quality Tools to remain within the design Specifications and Measurements.
o Organize Internal Audits to improve implemented Quality System in Organization & to deliver Defect Free Products.
o Organize Internal Quality Circles (KAIZEN) to enhance Quality Activities and Motivating employees to give best to the Organization.
o Organize In-House Trainings to implement Quality Management System with Modern Approaches.
o Preparing and writing of Work Instruction Sheets, Operation Standard Sheets & Policies.
o Root Cause Analysis and Filling of QDR’s (Quality Defect Report) received from customers.
o Handled the tasks of maintaining high quality of the product.
o Inspect and reject products, component that did not meet specification and sample.
o Collect samples during production and inspect randomly to determine in-process product quality.
o Work & Organize Vendor Audits to enhance vendors skills & their systems.
o Implement and establish training programs related to products quality.
o Update quality control standards, methods and procedures to meet compliance requirements.
o Manage quality assurance program including on site evaluations, internal audits and customer surveys.
o Identify and resolve process issues to encourage smoother procedures, more efficient workflow and overall business growth.
o Document minutes of meetings and distributed to staff to facilitate follow-up and permanent record.
o Handle customer queries to meet their expectations monitored in terms of quality management systems.
o Documentation of (HACPL, PSMC, AHL & IMC) parts.
o Basic information of different process (Powder Coating, Liquid paint & Phosphating).
Additional Responsibilities as a Laboratory & Calibration Supervisor:
o Calibrate the Instruments by Comparison Method.
o Check Zero Error & Calibrate the Instruments which are used during inspection.
o Calibrate the CF according to CFC, drawing & given dimensions.
o Inform the concern department if CF is worn-out.
o Prepare the calibration reports of Instruments & CF as per Plan.
o Perform Salt Spray Test for paint & Zinc Electroplating.
o Perform Microscopic Welding Penetration Test & prepare report.
o Perform Different Paint Test & prepare report. i.e.
• Adhesion Test
• Pencil Test
• Acid Resistance Test
• Alkali Resistance Test
• Water Emersion Test
• Oil Resistance Test
• Gasoline Resistance
Responsibilities as an Executive Production:
o Work with Assist Production Manager in planning, managing and executing production operations.
o Coordinate with production supervisor to ensure effective manufacturing quality and inspection procedures are executed.
o To do proper Root Cause Analysis if problems occur to conform the basic root of the problem and then permanent counter measure to avoid this nonconformance in future.
o To reduce rejection and rework rate by keeping in quality objectives and targets in mind.
o Making sure that all deviations are investigated and resolved before the dispatch of the batch.
o Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule.
o Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays.
o Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of production equipment to prevent equipment breakdowns and malfunctioning.
o Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations.
o Ensure that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes.
o Assist in documenting all work instructions and procedures.
o Ensure safety measures are procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
o Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
o Daily production meeting with Manager & Supply Chain department.
