Key Result Areas:
Lead MEP operations starting from all stages design, Engineering, procurement, project quality control, construction and Testing commissioning, authorities (QCDD) approval and project handover.
Manage large team of engineers, Revit CAD men, Operations team, subcontractors. Manage all interface with MEP, ELV related to Civil, ID, Medical Gas, Medical equipment, Kitchen, Laundry, Swimming pool, Landscape, Irrigation, and spa Subcontractors
Ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ
Controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
Reviewing project plan in consultation with management, evaluating actual resources requirement, improving productivity norms as per site conditions and monitoring Engineering and procurement logs/schedules for timely completion of projects.
Monitoring project schedule & time cycles; finding anticipated delays / deviations in advance with corrective action plan
Lead project & review meetings & discussions with the client/Project Management/ Supervision Consultants. throughout Project initiation to successful close out.
Leading project strategic plans with risk assessment, budgeting, cost management and ensuring mobilization of adequate resources & logistics at site
Review and approve cost comparison analysis of subcontractors vs. self-performance to maintain cost controls, reviewing material/subcontractor invoices.
Organizing and conducting site meetings to improve coordination, reallocate resources such as machinery, material & manpower and prioritize critical action plan
Executing day-to-day contracts / commercial administration during execution stages and finally claims and arbitration management towards achieving the targeted financial objectives
Creating a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities & motivates high performance in team
Well versed with contract administration including claims / variations to the contracted scope, cost, time, risk management, including managing multiple contractors / sub-contractors. Reviewing all instructions from the Client and advising the Project Management Team on time and cost impact; issuing Notice of Variation to Client as per Conditions of Contract (GCOC)
Lead the team for QCCD inspection and organizing several dry runs to ensure compliance with QCDD requirements and successful inspections with the authorities
Developing project MEP close-out strategy and review of documentation such as record drawings and O&M manuals provided by the contractor.
