PROJECT – ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Project Engineer
Roles & Responsibility:
I was working with the Onboarding Team for the project. As part of Onboarding Team my responsibilities includes,
• Onboarding Applications to Shield.
• Assigning Individual DNS / IP for each application onboarded.
• Resolving user queries on nginx configurations.
• Assisting the user in Request Items, Change Requests, Decommission Process.
I was also involved in Operations related tasks. The Operations task includes,
• Attend Release walk through meetings with Development Teams.
• Check-in and build the new code for each release using DevOps.
• Perform Testing in QA, UAT and Prod Environments.
• Raise Radars for bugs / errors / exceptions.
• Monitor the jobs in the application, its efficiency, traffic, errors,
exceptions and report in a daily basis.

Mastercard
Project Engineer
Roles & Responsibility:
I was working with the Production Support Team for the project. As part of Production support my responsibilities includes,
• Resolving production support issues
• Monitoring production MIPs (MasterCard Interface Processors)
• Running daily production reports and statistics
• Monitoring new release software implemented in the MIPs.
I was also involved in production support related development tasks.
These development task includes,
• Providing code for bug fixes and enhancing the current product.
• Performing the Unit testing, System testing & Integration testing for the developed code.
• Preparing integrated test scenarios, test data and conducting system integration testing.
• Check-in and build of the new code.
• Worked under various modules and have strong knowledge on
payment gateway, clearing and settlement, batch processing,
transaction processing, ISO 8583 standards, Authorization request and response codes, network response codes.
• Also worked in multiple projects like Apple Pay and Pay Pass Systems.
• Involved in technical documentation of the new procedures and
formalities encountered while working in a new production issue and present it to the team if that topic requires knowledge sharing.

Testing Experience:
• Good experience in software quality and testing methodologies.
• Develop QA Test scenarios.
• Good functional testing background, including defining test strategy,
test planning, test case design and execution.
