I am having 13 years of professional experience with presently working as a site supervisor having 8 years experience in the field of fire & gas instrumentation system maintenance onshore commissioning / start up and shutdown activities specialized installation, calibration, configuration, troubleshooting, testing and resolving a highly complex instrumentation and control issues. Skilled to read plant layout drawing, as-built cause & effect, loop drawing, instrument cable termination FLD through instrument, marshalling panel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Leading the team to carry out different jobs under the maintenance contract which involves Preventive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting activities of Fire & Gas detections, fire protection in various Process & remote areas,

·       Receiving work assignment from the fire & gas specialist and either works alone or with team as required.

·       Prepare several kind of work permits Cold work permit, hot work permit, Confined Space Entry permits as per job requirement.

·       Responsible for requisition work order and repair or replacement of spare parts for specific works.

·       Performing inhibits procedures are isolations / de-isolation of F&G instruments safely and effectively.

·       Reviewing cause & effect diagrams, functional logic diagrams, loop drawing, Layout diagram and design package for modification for reliability improvements and the execution of plan as required.

·       Responsible for conducting daily pre-job safety toolbox talks, job hazard analysis and pre-confined space entry procedure before work begins.

·       Performing walkthrough test, site inspection, Loop test, functional logical test & ESD actual trip logical test as per approved (or) as-built Cause & Effect.

·       Performing & ensuring the safe and efficient operation for Planning and work Supervision of installation, Inspection, calibration, functional testing, troubleshooting of addressable & conventional fire alarm panels, smoke/heat detectors, flammable / toxic fixed gas detectors, flame detectors, Vesda smoke detection (HSSD) system, manual call points, Fire protection system of CO2 system, NOVEC system, Inergen system, Auto rim seal system, deluge and sprinkler water spray system as per requirement.

·       Responsible for fault finding, repairing of instruments, electronic & Pneumatic system, distinguishing the problems in deluge system and floating roof of auto rim seal system spare replacement of Nitrogen cylinders, pressure gauges, pressure switches, solenoid valves, pneumatic pilot actuator, manifold valves, and pressure control regulator such as all pneumatic and electronic fire & gas equipment testing and making adjustments in the field if required.

·       Performing periodically functionality test, sequence logic test, trip logic voting (1ooN, 2ooN) system and confirming the actual status in DCS panel as per as-built cause and effect.

·       Responsible for immediate repairs the false alarm, loop open/shorts, ground fault in the event of unplanned breakdown of equipment.

·       Responsible as a team leader during an Emergency and respond to on-call on a non-routine basis in after working hours, weekends / holidays.

·       Provide the job status of breakdown and critical maintenance activities reporting to client and project lead.

·       Ensure Calibration and testing the instruments using standard Calibration Gases measurement and testing equipment in line with project standards and procedures.

·       Preparing several kinds of reports daily, weekly and monthly work progress reports, instruments service, Calibration and functional test reports and spares used records as per client requirement.

·       Coordination with vendors, operation team, instrument team, fire control department for site acceptance testing of all fire alarm system, Flame detection system, gas detection system.,

·       Responsible for inspection, walkthrough test, pre-commissioning loop checking, loop power up, Operation start-up and check all the conditions & making punch point as per client requirements.

·       Follow Safety management systems, leadership capabilities, Innovative, Adaptive and Optimist, Achievement of excellence in client management and service.

·       Performing other similar duties such as adherence to safety rules & regulations.

HAND ON EXPERIENCE FIRE AND GAS INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEM

·       Have worked in fire alarm Smoke detection system, LWHD, Gas detection Systems, Fire suppression system, extinguishing agent, Sprinklers water spray, Auto rim seal, Foam and Water deluge systems.

·       Installation, Calibration, Testing and troubleshooting of Combustible and toxic gas detectors in the various location in throughout plant. (Sieger, Honeywell, Det-tronics, General Monitor, Dragger, Detcon, Netsafety, Crowcon, Simtronics & MSA Ultima x-5000).

·       Troubleshooting & testing of the UV/IR Flame Detectors in transformer room, compressor shelter, LPG tank, pump house and chiller yard area. (General monitor, Fire sentry, dragger, Netsafety, Ominiguard, Det-tronics)

·       Troubleshooting & testing of Manual Call points, sounder, bell, Fire, Beacon. (MEDC, KAC, GENT, Autronica, Siemens)

·       Troubleshooting & testing of conversional & Addressable Fire Alarm Panels (TYCO, Minerva, Autronica, Honeywell, Auto pulse, Gent, C-Tec).

·       Troubleshooting & Testing of CO2 extinguishing System, kitchen hood system, INERGEN System, NOVEC system, fire extinguishing agent’s solenoid valves, directional valves and pressure switches.
