Assistant Director – Finance and Authorized Signatory in CR
Overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance
with local regulations, efficient internal controls and contributing to strategic financial planning and
decision-making. Legal Representation as Authorized Signatory in Commercial Registration (CR).
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
• Managing all financial operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, tax and
regulatory compliance.
• Leading the month-end and year-end closing process, ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial
statements, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• To Maintain and develop internal control systems and financial policies/procedures to safeguard assets and
ensure integrity of financial data.
• To Manage and develop the accounting/finance team; ensure adequate succession planning, team
performance and efficiency.
• To Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify variances, cost-savings opportunities and present
findings to senior management.
• To Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, inventory/cost reporting, intercompany
accounts, tax filings as applicable under Qatari regulation.
• To Assist in capital expenditure reviews, banking relationships, cash management, reserves for replacement
funds.
• To Ensure compliance with Qatari laws, fiscal regulations and relevant sector regulations and maintain tax
calendars.
• Sign all Company Documents as Authorized Signatory and Legal Representation at Ministry of Interior Qatar
and Supreme Judicial Council and Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
• To attend meetings with senior management/board members/owners as required.
• Any other duties as required by senior management and board members and Owners.
