Account Manager

About the role
Property Oryx offers real estate marketing services to real estate agencies and developers in Qatar. The primary role of an Account Manager is to support these clients in their usage of the Property Oryx platform. The secondary role is to encourage new clients to join the platform.
Core Account Management responsibilities
Responsibilities of an Account Manager depend on the status of the user’s account.
All accounts
Ensure that the CRM system is kept up-to-date
Set up and maintain a channel of communication with the client
Support the client with training of the platform where required
Answer any questions / requests
Propose a premium marketing package based on a full understanding of what would be beneficial for the client
Meet with the client where necessary
Accounts with premium marketing
As per “All accounts”, with the following additional responsibilities:
- Review the account on a regular basis and collect feedback
- Respond to package requests and assist with payments
- Provide detailed feedback to the client on how to best use their premium marketing package
- Set up and manage enhanced lead tracking functionality
- Other Account Management responsibilities
There are some responsibilities shared between all Account Managers which you will be expected to contribute to. These are as follows:
- Responding to new registrations and ensuring the registration process is followed
- Responding to enquiries received through email to any Property Oryx accounts that you have access to
- Responding to enquiries received through the main Property Oryx WhatsApp account
- Answering any phone calls received on the landline
Sales responsibilities
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, an Account Manager is expected to perform some sales responsibilities. These are outlined below:
- Identify agencies and developers who would benefit from marketing services offered by Property Oryx that are not currently using Property Oryx
- Prioritise those agencies and developers according to instructions from management
- Reach out to the identified agencies and developers, in order of priority, at regular intervals using industry standard sales procedures
About you
Essential
- A resident of Qatar with a valid residency permit
- Fluent in Modern Standard Arabic and English, with excellent literacy skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly computer literate – adept at Word and Excel with solid experience in using CRM tools - Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Exceptional customer service mindset, demonstrating patience in addressing diverse customer needs
- Problem-solving skills to help resolve customer queries
- Confidence in talking to key external decision makers
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting client data and proposing solutions to maximize ROI
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business strategies and industry dynamics – a quick learner
- Proven ability to navigate complex decision-making processes within client organizations
- Strong listening and sales skills including financial negotiation skills, objection handling, competitive dispositioning, etc
- Assertive, influential, proactive and highly motivated with an ability to work independently where necessary
Highly desirable
- Access to a car and have a driving licence
- Own a laptop
- A good understanding of the real estate industry in Qatar
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business or marketing
- Experience of account management and sales in a B2B SaaS / Subscription environment
- Experience as a Telesales agent or any sales-related role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills
- Flexibility to see clients in the evenings if they require it
Location & Hours
- 40 working hours per week, worked from Sunday to Thursday
- Working hours are 9am to 5pm during probation, with flexibility around core hours granted after successful probation
- 3-month probation period
- Working location is primarily at our office on the C Ring Road in New Salata, but some days you may be required to work at our location in The Pearl
Salary & benefits
- Starting salary of 5000 QAR/month
- National and public sector paid holidays
- Additional 20 working days of your choice of paid holiday (subject to prior notice given)
